Was going to use this as a warm-up question, but seeing as we're a bit low on Gen Ig, seeing as it has a rude word in it and seeing as Jo recently learnt how to play the church organ...

Question: Where would you find the world's largest organ?

Forfeit: Well, I don't like to brag... (etc)

Answer: On the coast of the Mediterranean, in Croatia.

This is the sea organ, a seventy meter long sculpture on the shores of Zadar, Croatia.

It is the world’s first pipe organ that is played by the sea and was created by architect Nikola Basic in 2005. The pipes are located under the concrete so that the sea water and wind movements produce sounds.

Alfred Hitchcock once said that the most beautiful sunset in the world can be seen from Zadar quay.

That is so cool. We must get a recording of it.

I'll bring in my passport next week...

I see they've gone for the relative safety of the pentatonic scale. I'd have made a blues scale...
