Sheep are truly wonderful creatures - I can't imagine why they don't feature in this forum. Is there anyone else out there who appreciates the qualities of wooly jumpers? I currently have fourteen of the little darlings and will shortly have even more (lambing any time now). Did you know they can not only recognise up to 20 human (or sheep?) faces and remember them for up to 2 years? A lot cleverer than most people realise - I guess you have to be if you're bottom of the food chain.

They're not bottom of the food chain - what about the grass? ;)

I love sheep too (no, not in that way..) We help with the orphan lambs on my friends farm. We took a picture yesterday of a Romney Ewe who had five lambs. She has a field all to herself.

I love the way they all have their own voices. When you live so close to a litlte flock you get to recognise them.

Mint.

Look, after that feed line, you'd have been disappointed of no one had said it. Wouldn't you? Anyway, it wasn't that baa-ad. Not that I'm trying to ram the point home, ewe understand.

Oh, for flock's sake.

Up our way there's a series of very funny mugs, cards, etc, using sheep puns.

I feel we should note this very important article from http://www.realclimate.org/ about the Sheep Albedo Feedback.

Most believable article on climate change I've ever read. Has Al Gore seen this?

The sadly missed cartoonist Gren often included a sheep called Neville in his cartoons, Neville usually had a slogan printed on his side some of which included:

Ban mint sauce
Happiness is being Welsh
Keep Wales tidy, throw your rubish in England
Ray Gravelle eats soft centres

Grenfell Jones to give his correct name is also the first cartoonist to be presented a gold disk, for his cover of the Max Boyce LP "We all had doctors papers".

The Grogg factory produces facimilies of Neville

Afraid I still can't track down the source (sauce?) but I seem to remember it was from a study done by an American university in the last year or so. Whether (wether?) it was initiated by someone worried as to the possibility of being picked out on an identity parade or not must remain a mystery.
