Magician, David Blaine, has emerged from his life-size liquid bubble sphere in Lincoln Center, in New York, setting the world record for living underwater.
Blaine's televised special on ABC, "David Blaine, Drowned Alive," filmed his attempt to also break the world record for holding his breath underwater, yet he failed to surpass 8 minutes, 58 seconds.
Blaine lived in the sphere, along with 2,000 gallons of 98.6-degree water, since May 1.
According to Dr. Murat Gunel, an associate professor of neurosurgery at Yale University School of Medicine, who was heading Mr. Blaine's medical team, "He is pushing his body insanely to the limits."
"I told him he needed to get out of the water, and he refused me... He said he did not want to let the people down."

One of Harry Houdini's tricks was who to make an elephant disappear in front of a thousand people on a well-lighted stage.
