I've just come across a terrific website that tells you who has made cover versions of what songs by whom. I wonder if there's a question in there somewhere? Surely there must be some unlikely combination of artist and song in there? Here's a link to the page of artists beginning with C for starters:

Here's a nice C track to start you with too - who made this, do you think?

And these ought to be worth listening to, if we can get hold of them:

I am trying not to post about any more songs because I can't link you to anything because I am useless with a mobile phone and almost as bad with a computer - but don't have access to the latter now, anyway.

However, there is one cover version I find near impossible to not just repeat

This is the last time...

Just once more...

It comes from an Oz rock music show called ROCKWIZZ

Traditionally, each week, two singers join 2 teams in a quizz and generally they are introduced to sing one of their better known songs BUT in the end, they sing a duet. Sometimes a song one of them made famous , sometimes, a song they find they both love and it's live

Sometimes it is quite unexpected and if you love rock music and a laugh, well worth tracking episodes down.

There is an album,

The Rockwizz Duets Two for the Show

There is a dvd of of the album, of some of the most popular duets and there are some great performances to surprise... and it is the video of the song as well as the song that I love.

My addiction is

SLAVE TO LOVE performed by DAN KELLY & MARTHA WAINWRIGHT

I do know the video can be found on the internet because when I had a computer I recall sending it to everybody. Nobody ever said anything but that they loved it.

I am so sorry I can't give you the link but would be even sadder to not make sure that people at least know of it.

I dont see anything to watch.

It seems to be a dating site amongst other things.

No song.

I'll remove this if I have it wrong or if you want to repost

But the problem is I'm probably the one at fault but I dont know how I arrived there.

Oh Bottom

I've added to a post dated 2005.

Its my fault.

I was just looking for a thread title about cover songs, as I wondered if there was somewhere to share my favorite duet cover and it never occurred to me to check dates.

I am on a steep learning curve and like a bull in a china shop being annoyed by a bee.

Mea culpa..

Mea maxima bloody culpa...

Nah, bob's been around the block and should know better, besides, he's got broad shoulders and can cope with a little blame now and again :-)
