It concluded that there was "little value" in using "remote viewing" for defence. Most subjects made extremely poor guesses and one voulenteer even fell asleep when attempting to focus on the contents of an envelope.
I'm surprised they bothered with this, didn't the Americans and Russians try ESP about 30 years ago with little effect?
Yes, they did - and I think it's generally reckoned now that the US intention was to force the USSR to waste money by launching their own programme. Quite why the UK got involved, a generation later, is anyone's guess!
