There’s a website here http://qntm.org/destroy devoted to practical schemes for achieving geocide. As the author makes clear, he has no time for “wusses whose aim is merely to wipe out humanity. If total human genocide is your ultimate goal, you are reading the wrong document. There are far more efficient ways of doing this, many which are available and feasible RIGHT NOW. Nor is this a guide for those wanting to annihilate everything from single-celled life upwards, render Earth uninhabitable or simply conquer it. These are trivial goals in comparison.
This is a guide for those who do not want the Earth to be there anymore.”

There's a great notion which arises out of super-symmetry, which involves the laws of physics changing under our feet as it were. In this scenario a spherical wave of jelly expands at light speed through the Universe. When it sets atoms disintegrate, light becomes heavy, and the Universe ends.

It's only a theoretical construct at the moment, so don't cancel those plans for next week-end just yet.

From that site of Mat's:

Creating a microscopic black hole is tricky, since one needs a reasonable amount of neutronium, but may possibly be achievable by jamming large numbers of atomic nuclei together until they stick. This is left as an exercise to the reader.

Yeah, but you would say that, wouldn't you? Everyone knows you're part of the establishment cover-up.

phew, by incredible quantum mechanical coincidence, all my atoms came back into existence.

Except... they aren't my shoes...
