QI has been featured in a large spread in today's Daily Telegraph. Several website members get a mention.

2 minor points:

1. Not a Number is a woman.

2. Smiley Face is doing her A Levels, not her GCSE's.

Since the Daily Telegraph write-up will, presumably, bring a large number of new people to these message boards who will have a quick look around and then never come again, may I just mention that I have a new book out? Thanks.

Probably a good chance that we will get QI member number 2,500 today.

Probably a good time to be plugging my new blog as well, with all of these guests wandering around.

Such are the accidents of journalism.

When I referred to Smiley, btw, I was referring to when she first joined the boards in August 2006.

Great picture of John Lloyd I thought.

She was still doing her A Levels last August (just got her AS Levels and starting on her A Levels IIRC).

And yes, a good picture indeed.

"What's your name?"

"Don't tell him, Pyke!"

Well, yes I am doing A Levels (I joined the forums in May during AS exam leave, just didn't post for a while for some unknown reason), not that I especially mind.

At least my surname was spelt correctly ;) ...not that "Face" is particularly challenging!

I don't mean to be a world-class pedant, but you know!

That's a good article. Rather interesting. Was/is there really a QI radio show or was that just the original idea? If it's already been on the radio, will it be on BBC7 anytime soon?

In Chain Reaction John Lloyd said that QI was originally made for radio but Talkback said it would be better on TV so that is where it ended up. I don't know if there are any ideas to put it onto radio myself but I think it would make a very good home for itself on Radio 4.
