If we were to do a show on economics, this would make a marvellous end quote:

SIRS - Thanks for an entertaining article on the objects that can come flying down on pedestrians from buildings in Hong Kong.

My favourite "from the skies" memory is of a letter that appeared in a Hong Kong newspaper:

'I was walking through Wan Chai when some clot shat on me.'
