I don't know that it's particularly hard, is it? If you put an almost arbitrary combination of words down and just swap any that contain any wrong symbols, substituting synonyms, that works OK as a kind of workaround. As long you don't mind if you talk a lot of junk, obviously.

Gadsby is a book of not much plot, though. Just lots of not fifth symbol words.

Why? I can't fathom any difficulty in including that third digit: that which is 'twixt two and four and is also half of six.

Stop it with all that sarcasm.

I can also do puns and irony, but not slapstick.

It is hard to act out slapstick on PC's, isn't it.

Particularly difficult, is it not. To construct a substantial post containing no sight of that symbol which stands fifth to our usual way of thinking would look a highly tricky task.

To fashion a solitary paragraph in this way has hurt my brain, so I shall not push my luck and go for two.

That digit which ordinarily follows two is right out.

A third paragraph may look a bit similar to this, but you would not think it a possibility, particularly.

Don't allow your building to catch alight. But, who would you call if you did?

An anti-ignition man, or an anti-ignition woman. I think you only want I to put it out.

That "I" is Roman.

Why would you not call an outfit from a 1968 hit song by Roy Wood's band?

Have you all noticed then the change in style within your writing when removing the 'e'.

Have you noticed too, the change in thinking required to remove that 'e' from your common language.

Interesting that our abilities to express ourselves and cultural norms can pinge so stongly on a few key letters of the alphabet with 'e' of course being the prime example in this case.

Just look at how often it is incorporated into our standard expression such as this post here.

Truely, if we were to remove the 'e', we would cause a shift in our thinking.

This got Twopints thinking.

If a contrary symbol was astray, would you or I still maintain our ability to construct logical writing.

What if S or T was missing from our choosing of symbols?
