You should watch it first, then try to guess the year from Alan's hairstyle...

Would be a little challenging - it seems to vary on a monthly basis courtesy of the new hair technology that is hair extensions!

Hair extensions?! i thought it was all natural! I'm disappointed :-(

As I understand it, it was natural at the time he started doing JC, then at some point he cut it, so they had to do extensions for subsequent JCs. I don't think he would be wearing them in QI though, but I could be wrong. I would imagine that his QI series 4 hair is real since he's not doing JC anymore.

Someone *please* correct me if Im wrong. I could discuss this particular topic for days :D

Now i'm curious as to what he'd look like without the curls. Perhaps hair straightners should be on the Christmas list...

You'd need some turbo-charged GHDs to sort out his curls.

Ooooh, and some sunsilk...

and some John Frieda products...

oh, and some GHD straightening serum...

(ooh dear, I think I know too much about this hair business)

This sounds like it would take *hours*...

Can I volunteer my services???! (in a totally uncreepy, non-stalker-like way)

God I hate his stylist. What a contrived excuse to run your hands through Alan Davies' hair! He or she should at least let us all take turns :p

This week's Sherry Monocle discussion has to be on that archive. It was brilliant.

Damn, you beat me to it. Though I would just point out it started as "Fry doesn't have beer goggles, he has Madeira Pince-Nez" :)

Though, to try and restore the balance and have some clips that don't all involve laughing at Stephen, might I also suggest the discussion about weight and weightlessness. Particularly:

Stephen: "Weight isn't the problem"
Phill: "Tell that to society, Fry!!"

Had another idea.

The bit about the Titanic in the C series.

Phill: Yes, goo goo indeed, I am a very large baby with a suit and a beard. And yes madm, I am a very naughty baby.

I saw that on a re-run the other night...superb episode. I think it had John Sessions on it too. Phil and John seemed to be having some sort of pipe thing going on.

Having just started watching the DVD can I please vote for Alan's comment of "I've got a 9 inch tongue and I breathe through my ears"?

:-D
