Afghanistan always did have an interesting relationship with the UK. Because it was never colonised UK customs never acquired the stigma that they did in India, for example. I've even seen a picture of one Afghan prince dressed in Highland costume.[

Actually, the people of Afghanistan are Afghans. 'Afghani' is the name of the currency. |
