Wind.

The thinness of the atmosphere there at 0.0060 atmospheres (0.088 psi, 4.6 mmHg, 610 Pa) means there isn't much of that either.

The loudest thing on Mars appears literally to be the sound of human perseverance; actually it's the sound of Perseverance plus a little bit of wind but you know what I mean.

I think they should use that sound clip with the rover dropped out in place of this from now on.
