Hello, everyone--my name's Scott, and I'm new to the forum. My wife and I are great fans of the show.

One thing we were wondering about -- has anyone ever commented on the answer in the "Roaming" episode about rainforests? Sandi asks what the largest rainforest in the world is, and her answer is that it's the Tongass, in Alaska. But the Tongass isn't the largest rainforest in the world -- it's just the largest *temperate* rainforest in the world. According to Google, the Tongass is 26,560 square miles, while the Amazon (just as one example) is over 2 million square miles.

So we were just wondering if either there was a mix-up with how the question was read, or if the producers had been called on the error.

Hi groundhog and welcome to the forums :-)

I don't know if that was ever specified in the question (because I haven't seen the episode yet) but if not it could always be one for the fabled Retractions Special.

Thanks, Jenny -- at least Retractions fits the R season! :-)
