So I have a quibble- something that pokes at me from under the chair cushions, so...

Sandy mentioned (and I've heard it several times in the last few days-) that Philip of Spain only spoke Castilian Spanish, and that he must have had trouble communicating with Mary. Well, NO.

Mary Tudor was the daughter of the formidable Catherine of Aragon, and was raised speaking Spanish, until her father sent her away as a teen. Mary also spoke/read/wrote fluently in Latin, which Philip had learned also, as an educated Prince of the era.

Good point! Too late for the P series, but you never know whether it might crop up in the fabled retractions special.
