I wish to push Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg down a slime pit.

One of the components of the slime is super glue. That way they cannot get out of the pit.

I don't think superglue will adhere to anything as oily as Rees-Mogg.

The year is 2137.
Business in the House of Commons is about to begin for the day, but first the Prime Minister must propose the Theresa May Brexit Deal Bill.
As usual, this is voted down 649-1.
No-one knows the origins of this ancient ritual.
The next item is a discussion of provision for relief for refugees from Betelgeuse, whose star went supernova last week.

On a point of pedantry, Betelgeuse is about 640 lightyears away, so it could have gone supernova just after Columbus discovered America and we wouldn't know it yet.........

But by then we might have faster than light travel and communications.
I read it in a book.
