"Reindeer are nomadic and travel up to 4,800km (3,000 miles) a year, the mammal travel record" - page 259 of the first book of general ignorance

The Mexican free-tailed bat migrates between Oregon and southern Mexico, for a total of more than 4,000 miles per year.

Traveling night and day, the gray whale averages approximately 120 km (75 mi) per day at an average speed of 8 km/h (5 mph). This round trip of 16,00022,000 km (9,90013,700 mi) is believed to be the longest annual migration of any mammal.
