The QI page claims that the Daleks were based on the Nazis. They were in fact based on ballet dancers. While the Kaleds, the fictional creators of the Daleks were based on the Nazis, as illustrated in the TV story ‘Genesis of the Daleks”, The Daleks physical appearance was based on ballet dancers as this extract from the Daleks Wikipedia page states “Wishing to create an alien creature that did not look like a "man in a suit", Terry Nation stated in his script for the first Dalek serial that they should have no legs.[56] He was also inspired by a performance by the Georgian National Ballet, in which dancers in long skirts appeared to glide across the stage.[56] For many of the shows, the Daleks were operated by retired ballet dancers wearing black socks while sitting inside the Daleks” |

I wish I'd thought of it!
But the answer to the question is certainly "yes". While modern apologists try to present them as having always been opposed to Nazism, read about people like Rudolf von Laban and Mary Wigman, and their dance schools from which Jewish pupils were excluded. |
