I would like to question Stephen Fry’s statement in ‘Hanimals’ that Honey Badgers are incredibly aggressive and will attack other animals and humans.

Yes, if they are cornered, no if not. They do not attack humans.

in the book ‘ Don’t Run, Whatever You Do’, a Honey Badger came into the dining area of a tourist camp in Africa on a number of occasions and merely sniffed around for food. It displayed no aggression to the humans who were present.

A baby Honey Badger was given to a woman to look after and she brought it up in her home. It was extremely friendly to humans and displayed no aggressive behaviour. ‘Raising Hell’ describes this interaction.

If attacked, they are then ferocious in defence.

The Honey Badger has always struck me as pretty laid back.

Let me introduce you to Stofile, the Houdini Honey Badger. Most incredible clip!

These creatures are incredibly intelligent! This one effectively learnt how to make bricks.

Don't know if you ever played a game called far cry 4 (I think they were in the spin-off - primal too), but they come out of nowhere and harass you and NPC's, they got quite the reputation in this game series, replaced by the wolverine in the latest installment Far Cry 5.

You need to reduce the url back to where it ends .jpg and then hit the Img button, paste it, and hit the Img button again :-)

Welcome to the forums.
