I would just like to add another "woo hoo!" to the mix.

It's great news

D'you know, I think you may be right. I was away, and someone put it up in my absence. I know some people don't look at the front page (I'm one of them) but all that's going to change...

As you were.

Reviving a long-dead thread:

I would be blissfully happy to see an E series.

The A series premiered when I was first starting my year-long course in Brum and really saved my sanity those first few months (No friends in town = lots of Friday nights in for a homesick Canadian). I used to post here back then too (it's been a long while).

I'm heading back to the UK this spring/summer, hopefully for a couple of months at least, and I am crossing all appendages that I manage to get tickets to a taping while I'm there. Any ideas when they might be putting those shows together?

Welcome back to these parts blau! Another of my lot hits the forums!

If it's anything like the D series, the recordings will be sometime around April/May, and the shows will hit the screen between September and Christmas.

I'm sure that if you stick around these parts long enough, the precise details will be posted as they become available.

Ohhh I really need to get my supple paws on some tickets for the recording session this year. :) Now where is that credit card...

Mandibles, the good news is that you won't need one!

The tickets are free, but getting one is likely to be the tricky bit (demand being rather ahead of supply, and that sort of thing).

I know some tricks. However, if I told everyone what these are, they wouldn't be much use.

Looks like I might have to subscribe to the Applause Store Gold Club if I want to catch a glimpse of my idol this year...

*Continues credit card hunt* (I knew I'd need it somehow)

It's so great that they're being recorded late May, early June because my term finishes on the 16th on May!

I'm going to try and make a Thursday and a Friday, hopefully there will be a sofa for me to sleep on down in good old London town. I cannot wait!

Hugs and Love Qi!!

QI shall never die, the OED's capabilities will just expand with one letter being added every series past 26. Letter 27 is pronounced "feen" and is like the world peace symbol but with more equal sides (Copyright 2007 Mercedes-Benz Automobiles and Automobile Accessories Ltd)

lol instead of woohoo, just to be different i'll go 'BANZAI!!'

i love it when the japanese do that, with the hand lifting action as well. cracks me up.

i know this is totally irrelevant, but let's look at a comparison between british tv shows like QI and a japanese game show.

whilest QI is refreshingly intelligent, the japanese (this is true) once thought it would be a great idea to get 100 people at the end of an alley to appear and run at people passing by (you know as if they were a huge gang or mob). I know it doesn't sound it, but it was hilarious
