why do the elves always talk about Australia?

Perhaps it's my imagination and the fact I'm an Auzzie but it seems to me that Australia seems to come up in conversation a disproportionate amount.
I know Australia is an interesting and weird place but there's other places. I mean I've never heard them talk about Brazil or Tonga.
Also I've heard them talk about Canberra twice. I live in Canberra and I haven't heard anyone else talk about it more than once ever.
Weird.

Of course! I forgot that you are based in London. It all makes sense.
Not every Auzzie works in a pub.
Perhaps you could do an all Australian show.
Fact 1 - Australia is the only country which had rum as its currency.
At least they never talk about New Zealand
