Hi, lovely people! I'm Saphia, a writer and editor by training, fascinated by the roots of the English language. ("Fascinated" of course stemming from the word for a phallus. I could go on.)

My day-job is author and editor at Amnesty International, where I specialise in international law, fair trials, as well as human rights in the Middle East and North Africa region. I'm currently working on a book about medical ethics, so if you have any nuggets in that direction...?

Glad to know you all! X

Hi Saphia! Great day-job you got. Human rights in those regions - you must live on Rennies. :-)
