Searching Users' Posts

When I search a user's post by clicking on their name in a post or thread, it only lets me look at the first page. If I click on 'Next' or a specific page number, it says "no topics or posts match your search criteria".
It's been that way for ages but I've never bothered asking before.
Btw, I'm not really a stalker, it's just the easiest way to catch up on specific users. :)

I've mentioned that phenomenon a few times already. I can only access the first page of my own posts; no other are available - although the amount of posts is stated.

I think this is to stop the forums crashing.

You'll be aware that some common words are not found by the search. That is done deliberately, because searching the forums for every instance of the could break the Internet.

So it is with the more prolific users. If you asked the search for every post that - say - I have ever made, it would run out of room. So it stops after the first page.

You can also see the first ten posts a person made by doing a search and setting the order to "ascending"

I gather the NSA took them away for analysis. Along with those of Peter Dow and Joeontheland.
