I've just joined the forum so thought I'd say hi. I've been a fan of QI for ages and recently discovered No Such thing as a fish which has helped with a lot of tedious hours in the lab working with earthworms. I'm a biologist, but am interested in most things, from dada to DIY to Middle age proto feminism.

I hope I have the time to post here, it seems like a lovely forum

Hi, Ilzeras.
Are other types of worm less tedious?

Oh, the worms themselves are fascinating, I'm just doing a long term experiment which involves a lot of simple manual work.

However, I googled weird worms and there's a worm called Pigbutt worm (also known as Flying Buttocks).

That would make my days a lot more fun
