According to RoSPA, normal Christmas Trees are responsible for 1000 trips to A&E in the UK every year (they also say that there are 80,000 christmas-related accidents annually).

Incidents include:
falling off a chairs while putting a fairy on top of a tree; branches poking into eyes; tripping while carrying trees; and cuts from saws and knives when hacking off branches or shortening trunks.

The "Christmas Meteorite" is the largest meteorite that is known to have hit the UK. The rock, which was described as the size of a christmas turkey, hit the Leicestershire town of Barwell on Christmas Eve in 1965.

Thankfully, due to the sparsly populated nature of the village, no-one was hurt, instead villagers collected the fragments, selling them on to museums and collectors.

Quote:
"We got £39.50 for the piece of the meteorite,"

"We sold it to Leicester museum and went on holiday with the money."

The christmas tree worms look a lot like peacock worms, only with more tentacles.

Surely though, that can't be the world's largest anything... Since it is not of this world...

Hi all,
I noticed someone has posted this before, but there were no replies. Just wondered where the best place to buy a real Christmas tree was? and the most reasonable.

We could wait to see how long it takes for the edit with the link to appear. That way we’ll know if they’re getting better at this or not.

Or you could just ditch them both.
