during episode k folk it was stated that British people living in Ireland are not allowed to vote, this is incorrect and with a general election due on 26/2/2016 I can give you proof of a valid voting card along with my valid British passport along with my driving licence to prove I'm a resident of the republic of Ireland. please email me at where I can send you a JPEG with the aforementioned. There is a difference, though.

Irish citizens who live in the UK can vote in all elections. They can vote for their local council, for their MP, for their MEP, and in referendums.

British citizens who live in Ireland can vote for their local council, and for their TD (Irish for MP) and their MEP, but they cannot vote for the Uachtarán (Irish for President) and they cannot vote in referendums.
