Tonight Mr Fry stated that a link with the heading "quiteinterestingmwords" was available. This was for the list of words shown on the back screen during the program.
I have searched all over and can't find it!! Very frustrating as the word Mundungas was up there and it was the given name of a cowardly little sneak thief in the Harry Potter books. Ms Rowling uses a lot of Quite Interesting names from history myth and legend but this one had escaped me.
When is this heading going to be available or has anyone else any idea who or what mundungas was?

The site is available here:

Also, it's Mundungus, both the word and character, and means "stench of tobacco."

Thanks for that, as usual with Ms Rowling the name fits like a glove.

Mumbudget (n.)
1. In 17th & 18th centuries ‘to play at mumbudget’ meant ‘to keep silent’
2. In 19th century ‘to come mumbudgeting’ meant ‘to fuss or bustle’

Might that be where the phrase 'Keeping Mum' meaning 'to keep silent about something' came from?
