Aldrin's mother's maiden name was Moon.

Now that is nominative determinism!

Aldrin was also the first person to urinate on the moon and the first person to eat on the moon - communion bread, shortly after touching down on the surface.

Personally I'm not sure how any software could show the presence of a word that was not recorded by the microphone before being transmitted. Sounds to me like a computer nerd with some free audio software and too much time on his hands looking for something that he's desperate to find.

Perhaps the software shows that there is a gap in Armstrong's speech that would be expected to be filled by a one-syllable word? This syllable might then have been dropped on the journey through the various radio transmission links and onwards a quarter of a million miles to Earth.

Armstrong was positive that he intended to say "a man".

The famous images of an astronaut stepping off the ladder of the Lunar Module onto the surface of the Moon accompanied by the words: "A small step for man...etc." are not of Neil Armstrong of course because he was the one holding the camera when the second astronaut stepped onto the Moon (which is what we see). There was no one on the Moon yet to capture Neil Armstrong stepping onto the Moon's surface.

Armstrong took photos of Aldrin on the Moon, but Aldrin didn't get around to taking any of Armstrong. So, there are no photos (only stills from TV footage) of Armstrong on the Moon.
