According to Theresa May, in her interview with Andrew Marr, the 'advice' Trump gave her on dealing with the EU was to sue them.

He's now gone on record as calling the EU America's 'enemies'.

Oh Lord, let Mueller turn up some solid evidence and impeach the bastard soon.

Amen.

The other day radio 4 picked up on a minor ...erm... memory lapse of his. He said he'd been in Scotland the day before the Brexit referendum and had predicted the result.

Only he hadn't. He arrived the day after. This, of course is easy to verify, as presidents arriving tends to leave a rather large media trace.

Bizarrely, Melania Trumpís spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham backed him up. Until presented with their own tweets that said otherwise.

What planet are these people living on?

Oh.

This one.

Nope he doesn't have lapses according to him he has genius level intellect and the best memory. He's also a pathological liar. Oh and a twunt too.

I actually once worked for someone who had a very selective memory. It had a magical way of changing past events to fit with whatever opinion was the current one. I don't believe it was lying in the sense of knowingly telling an untruth because, in that persons mind, the past did look like that.

If you ever find yourself employed by someone like that, my advice is to walk away as soon as possible.

Kinda hard to do with heads of state, though.

He has the highest turnover rate of staffers at the Whitehouse since they started recording that stuff, for precisely that reason I suspect.

True. A memory of that kind must do wonders for your feeling of superiority because everyone else gets it wrong all the time.
Either that, or you end up as a raving paranoid.

Quite early on in his presidency I read an article expressing pretty much the same thing: he's not a liar precisely because truth and falsehood are not differentiated in his mind; only what is advantageous/disadvantageous to him.

If you point this out to any of his fans, they claim it shows how great he is at clearing out bad employees.

One wonders just what it will take for the GOP to finally realize what they have in office.

On what grounds?

This is one of his manifold problems. He doesn't seem to grasp that politics and business are two different things, and what works in one does not necessarily translate to the other.

Given his business record his abilities in that area are somewhat questionable, except in the case of outcrooking someone perhaps.
