I'm wondering how many Republican senators are bluffing when they say they won't kick him out as a result of the impeachment. It's safer for them to say it now while trump is still in power, but it would not look good on them if they kept him in after everything is out in the open.

If anything, this whole Trump business has shown that despite all the safeguards built into the system that were supposed to stop him at every stage of the process, politician's self interests come before stopping an idiotic tyrant from destroying the reputation of the USA.

Reading "Fortean Times" this morning. Apparently, McTrumpy seriously suggested using nukes to destroy approaching hurricanes.

Amongst Dirty Donald's excuses for abandoning the Kurds to the mercy of the Turks was that they didn't help in WW2. Surprisingly he appears to be mistaken in this view. Although as we know he unfortunately never saw action himself (due to the vicious and crippling bone spurs which knocked nearly a tenth of a point off his golf handicap) he does seem to have overlooked some details:

WWII British Army Kurdish units:

39th Kurdish company less one platoon -Habbaniya
27th Kurdish company -Majara
41st Kurdish coy -Karind
33rd Yizidi coy -Karind
1 platoon 39th Kurdish coy -Karind
13th Kurdish coy -Nicosia
44th Kurdish coy less one platoon -Nicosia
44th Kurdish coy one platoon - Lakatamia
40th Kurdish coy -Famagusta
30th Kurdish coy - Ras el Ain
8th Kurdish coy -In transit to Habbaniya

On the other hand Turkey remained neutral until the final stages of World War II and tried to maintain an equal distance between both the Axis and the Allies until February 1945, when Turkey finally entered the war on the side of the Allies against Germany and Japan once it was clear who was going to win. of course this left little time to actually organise anything useful and no Turkish troops ever saw combat.

Fortunately Dirty Donald's bone spurs healed (an truly rare medical event, but then he himself tells is what a remarkable man he is) shortly after the Vietnam war...

Surfing on from that link, I found this (check the last three words).

Finally, a Trump tweet we can all get behind.

Meanwhile in other news - anyone remember the while "Hilary's private Email Server" outrage - one that triggered the "Dirty Hillary" and "Lock Her UP" slogans, with the Republicans banging on about how this was a setrious federal offense, a critical security breech and grounds for summary assassination by "2nd Amendmenters"?

Well for some reason there seems to have been little publicity around the publication of the investigation report. The report inconveniently concludes that there was no actual breech, and that there was clear evidence that security procedures that were at least as tight as those for the government servers were explicitly adopted. So no actual offense was committed or risked...

I wonder why Dirty Donald hasn't tweeted this news?

He's actually tweeted classified information (which was then hurriedly declassified) so I don't think he wants anyone reminded of that either.

It seems that 45 has tweeted that they are building a wall in Colorado. Colorado is 400 miles from Mexico. Is he getting confusticated with New Mexico?

The lizard people who live under Denver airport are smuggling Mexicans into the US through their secret tunnel network. Believe me.

Crazy hypocrisy yesterday when a group of Republicans stormed a committee room that they already had access to and could have walked into normally, claiming that the meetings were being hidden from the public after they complained last time that the meetings were a public stunt. And while broadcasting it on their phones, which is technically illegal because the meetings contain classified information. All after Trump urged them all to do something, which sounds like the actions of a very innocent man who has nothing to hide :)

Some serious repercussions need to come from this.
