Ooh yeah - if the Chaplin thing can be proved, I think it makes a brilliant double bluff question (with notes on all the other instances, which presumably are myths?)

Also intriguing that the whole premise of The Great Dictator is impersonation by a double ... but perhaps I'm suffering from drinking too much tea and am having a coinciclasm.

Just for the record, as they say ... I’ve just discovered that I’ve been filing clippings on those lookalike stories (Chaplin, etc) in two separate places, so I’ve got some more stuff on the topic, should it ever turn out needed. For Series L, perhaps.
