Question: How many brains does a starfish have? You can have the same number of points if you get it right.

Answer: None.

Notes: Yes it's true: starfish don't have brains. They have a collection of nerves known as a 'nerve net' that surround their mouths (in the middle) and other nerves that lead off into their 'arms'. This network works all the parts of the animal 'in parallel', without central control (see bees).

More points could be given for identifying where their eyes are. (They're at the tips of their 'arms', and are only shallow, light-sensitive pits, or 'proto-eyes'.)
