IDOL is the "International Day of Latexwear" - a day for latex fetishists. It began last year and takes place on 15th June, because it was on that day in 1844 that Charles Goodyear patented his discovery of vulcanisation.

Same also happens the other way around. In Japanese the word "bukkake" means "to dash" or "splash", but in English is used to mean this (Wikipedia article). Similarly is the word "gokkun", which is an onomatopoeia meaning "gulp", but in English means this (Wikipedia).
