Some QI facts about Taz:

The Tasmanian devil is the now the world's largest carnivorous marsupial, reaching 30 inches (76 centimeters) in length and weighing up to 26 pounds (12 kilograms), presuming the Tasmanian Wolf to be extinct.

Taz is a solitary, aggresive and nocturnal creature.

It once lived on Australia but appears to have disappeared 600 years ago.

It is a scavenger with weak eyesight hence a poor hunter It tends to eat small prey such as snakes, birds, fish, and insects.

It is also called the Native Devil.

It stores fat in its tail.

Little buggers are like wombats, except smaller and more aggro.

They are having a hard time due to a rare contagious and eventually fatal facial cancer.

Point of clarity - is there a 'mainland' missing after 'Australia'?

UE I do not know. The country is called Australia as is the "mainland" island. In future for clarity I will add mainland.
