New Spellchecker?

The last couple of days I appear to have acquired an in-forum spellchecker.

When typing in the text box, any spelling mkistkes are underlined in red. Actually very useful for avoiding annoying and embarrassing typos. It also has a UK spelling default, as tested with the word 'colour'.

Janet does not appear to have this facility. Is this standard now? Is it connected with the OS I use (Windows 7)?

Or am I simply being blessed by the QI gods for having led a blameless forum life so far?

Chrome has a spullchucker built into it, not sure about FireFerret or IE I haven't used either of them in years, it may be your browser has updated.

I do have IE 10 installed which, after a quick Google, I notice has a spellchecker. It might well be that then.

Thanks Efros.

I can confirm that it's not "us".

Apart from anything else, any such thing would have to be added to the forums by the IT Elf - and he's on holiday at the moment, as Ms Filofax is well aware!
