Song titles reimagined as vintage magazine covers

Current home improvement plan - get all the R.E.M. ones, frame them and hang them in my bedroom.

My emphasis.

So why does the condensation occur peripherally rather than centrally?

Can't believe I missed this Cel - sorry!

The "centre" I was referring to was the centre of the tip vortex not the centre of the rotor.

By far the best counter-counterfactual I've ever encountered

Thanks bobwilson - that was interesting and well thought-through I think.

I gather there was a serious "wargame" carried out by the military at some point that came to the same conclusion. With a lot of the German navy already lying at the bottom of Norwegian fjords or damaged by that point, it was never going to work.

This isn't a 30-second soundbite, but I have to say it struck quite a few chords (especially on the legacy of misguided parenting strategies) so I though others might be interested:

That guy was absolutely brilliant! And kudos to the presenter for shutting the f*ck up and letting him speak.

They guy in the audience at 3.01 really needs to get his hair cut, it just doesn't suit him like that at all.

Erm... How many of you people actually work with millennials on a daily basis? Cos I do and in my experience they're among the hardest working, least entitled, most ready to share people out there. And, tbh, to see another member of my generation (I just looked him up and Mr Sinek is about a year younger than me) jump on that particular bandwagon fucking sickens me.

I have to agree. Millennials get dumped on all the time, yet on average they are nicer than all of the older generations. I guess that being dealt the worst hand economically probably helped instill more humbleness and appreciation.

OMG YAS!

Edit: I just looked up the price. I've had cars I spent considerably less on.

I love these miniaturised versions of large scale engineering.

My brother had a pneumatic Lego Techno excavator kit like that, which I was always jealous of. Now that I think of it, he got a lot of toys that were far more suited to me than to him.

That would have gone down well with Little Brother when he was younger (and right now possibly!).

Not ASMR, perhaps if you are mechanically or tool inclined, but I found this very relaxing to watch.

Interesting article on the use of old to ancient yeasts in brewing and baking.
