We have an amazing thread and strange thread, just thought it would be good to have a thread for stuff we come across that is neither of these but is still neat.

First offering

That really is neat, Efros. If we can't think of a K connection (probably too late now...) we ought to think of an L connection.

Lesbians.

I can't actually connect that little movie to Lesbians in any way whatsoever, but most of the QI research team are heterosexual men. (There's also half of a bisexual woman, although no one has ever figured out which half.)

Accordingly, I expect every single question in L series to be about Lesbians.

I'm fairly sure they'll come into the script somewhere.

Levitation maybe? I think these are related but I could be absolutely wrong.

Tibetans do appear to know more about beating gravity. Following extract taken from the book 'Anti-gravity and the world grid' by David Hatcher Childress.
(I don't know if this is a myth or not)

It was nice that they let him run around with a tape measure, measuring everything so accurately.
