Doughnuts

There seems to be some significant controversy to the inventor of the doughnut (or donut). Although a Captain Hanson Crockett Gregory is credited with inventing the doughnut with a hole in the middle, the origin of the word and the first doughnut seems rather more difficult to pinpoint.
