Originally referring to a young goat, as a topic it might be expanded to include children, joking, famous kidnappings, its nickname use for Old West outlaws (Billy the Kid, the Sundance Kid, Kid Curry, the Apache Kid, etc.)

Exactly the same Billy the Kid-story was told twice by mr. Fry, during two different QI seasons.

Other "famous" kids: The Kidd Creole, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Ugly Kid Joe.

Then there's Captain Kidd. Has QI done pirates yet? Some interesting stuff in that topic : i.e. the pirates were Freemasons, practiced democracy, etc.
