I can't be the only one who is starting to suffer from Susan Calman/Sarah Millican overload though, can I?

Have to agree with Millican. Even at the peak of David Mitchell's panel show whoring it wasn't nearly as ridiculous as this - there's been one occasion where she was on three different shows (News Quiz, WILTY, 8 out of 10 Cats) on the same night. I know people who've been put off her simply because she's absolutely everywhere. It doesn't really help that I find her act quite limited, but even if I didn't her massive overexposure is a problem.

Agree less on Calman; although she's on telly and the radio noticeably more I don't think she's anywhere near to overexposed. I may be biased, though, simply because I find her funnier than Sarah Millican. I note she also seems to have more of a repitoire, whereas Millican had her stand-up series and panel show after panel show after panel show...

I have no issue with either, Millican's chat show was very strained for the first few programmes and I seriously doubt she will get another run, pity as by the end of the series it wasn't half bad.

Sarah's show was renewed a couple of months ago.

I'm surprised, but I think it will be better now that she's settled in as it were.

Her show had a dodgy format, but she was entertaining enough -- she has "star quality", as they say.

But yeah, her show does need tweaking for the 2nd series.

I don't know how Cal Wilson stopped herself from giving Phil Jupitus a mouthful in Fri/Sat's episode. I counted three separate occasions where Phil ignorantly butted in with his nonsense just as she was trying to say something. It wouldn't be so bad, had he not just bored us all stupid seconds before.

Who is Phil Jupitus? Is he related to Phill Jupitus?

That does bug me when panelists talk over each other.

You should check out The View on US TV, most of the show seems to consist of constant, strident talking over of everyone else on the panel. It drives me nuts and usually makes me move to another room whilst it's on.

Well done, dickhead.

Just made the page unreadable for anyone who has anything less than a 98" monitor.

I can't feeling that calling a show 'a dodgy format' makes you sound like an ancient programme programmer...
