The QI Telegraph Column

I noticed that QI's column in the Telegraph has started again. I also spotted that someone new is writing them, Anne Miller. Is she a new elf?

There was a "Dusty" Miller in real life, a POW from the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders that worked on the Death Railway/Bridge on the River Kwai. He was executed (by crucifiction I think) for his religion, and I think his story was the inspiration for a number of books/films etc, including A Town Like Alice and others

I never noticed any particular hiatus. It did move from the second page of the Weekend section to the back page, many months ago.
