Y'know, once we've finished watching every episode of Red Dwarf backwards to find out if there's a hidden meaning...

Seek out Arthur Smith! He guides the way...

Is he a total Red Dwarf nut then. How very interesting. I shall seek him out.

I think the reference was to watching Red Dwarf backwards, as Arthur Smith was in the episode of series 2 entitled Backwards, in which they end up on a version of Earth on which time runs backwards. He has a rant at one point, which is, naturally, played backwards, but if you watch it backwards (which is to say forwards), as you can on the DVD, you will hear that he is berating anyone sad enough to watch the thing backwards to find out what he's saying.

Tell a lie, it was series 3. Sometimes I'm so fast I surprise myself.

QI researchers in space:

Wasn't there a Star Trek episode where a race moved so fast that they couldn't be heard or seen in the normal time frame.

Red Dwarf is so brilliant. I find it difficult to say which is my favourite episode but Quarantine, amongst others, explored new TV Sci-Fi ideas. Mr. Flibble rules!

There's also an episode of Jimmy Neutron called See Jimmy Run in which he invents a pair of running shoes that make him so fast he becomes invisible. It's on today at 4.30 on Nick (606)!

"No, we couldn't do that Mr Flibble - who'd clean up the mess?!"

'White Hole' was on yesterday.

Would you like some toast? How about a crumpet? Or a tea-cake?
