Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'd really appreciate some information about this as I can't seem to google my way to it - how long does it usually take between requesting QI tickets and actually getting them/getting to know whether you're getting them or not? I know Applausestore says to stop hoping if nothing's happened within ten days of the requested date, but it seems ridiculous not knowing for that long. So, is there anyone here who's been successful in their requesting for previous series who can tell me roughly when you find out? :3

Hello and welcome Scarface Ash :)

I'm in Canada, so I don't really know, but you might find something useful in this thread...

Hello ScarfaceAsh. The waiting list for Applause Store is long. You will have to be patient. I am waiting on mine. I had to use a friend of a friend's tickets to go to recordings.

Sometimes, Applause is so desperate for audiences for lesser-known shows that they will offer tickets to high-ranking shows as an incentive, so watch out for these.

I finally got QI tickets by going to a radio show recording I had no interest in whatsoever (but which turned out to be very good!).

However, Applause has this very annoying policy of vastly over-subscribing so if you eventually get tickets, make sure you are there VERY early or you could (will!) still get turned away.

HTH

It probably will help those people lucky enough to live near enough! I'd have to fly 3000 miles (sob).
