The Zimbabwe Mail reported Mugabe's failing health has forced the ruling party to push for early elections, but according to the paper the dictator has reached a "gentlemen's agreement" to hand over power to his feared defence minister, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Oh. That's alright, then.

Reading this topic, I said to M 'Apparently Robert Mugabe's dying.'
She went 'Ohhh!' + did a sadface.
Then suddenly she brightened up + said 'Oh no, I'm not bothered about him. I was thinking of Nelson Mandela.'

Slight doffcock, but I knew the name of Nathan Shamuyaria long before he gained notoriety* as the chief spokesperson for Zanu-PF. He came for dinner at our house sometimes and my mum always remembered him as a very nice young man. So we were a bit stunned when we heard how his career had developed.
