This tiny marsupial from the south of Western Australia has some QI facts. The males have very large testes in proportion to the size of the animal. They have the largest in proportion of any mammal. If a man was similarly equipped his testes would be the size of water melons! The males also have very large sized sperm. The honey possum babies are also the smallest of mammals at birth.

Without looking it up, I think I'm right in saying that they are also the only mammal that subsists exclusively on nectar and pollen that isn't a bat.

They're the sole survivor of an ancient lineage and only distantly related to other Possums.
