QI app for non-iphone phones

Hi would it be possibly for someone to create a version of the QI app for the more general android market place as opposed to just itune/mac products? huge can of QI and i would love to have the QI app on my phone! =]

do you mean use twitter on my phone? because basically all i am after is something like the QI app so i can see interesting facts daily/weekly

There's no plans I'm afraid, but if they do change then you'll hear things here first.

If it is daily facts and QI info that you're looking for, then Jenny's right that @qikipedia is a good place to start:

Hey jhambly,

Like you, when I first got my android phone one of the first apps I looked for was a QI app. Disappointed, I started work on one. Currently, it is functional, just not very pretty. Once it's tidied up I'm hoping to include a widget so you can have the quote displayed on the home screen each day if you want. I'm thinking the fact might be too long to display comfortably in a 4x1 widget, but I'll look into it.

I hope to get it out to the market sometime in the couple of weeks, so I'll post back here when it's ready.

Interesting idea. Let me know if you'd like something set up to make your life a bit easier. In the past I've had to set up a specific RSS feed for the BBC so they could integrate it into their webpages a bit more easily. I could easily knock up something similar if it'd help you out.

I just "upgraded" to an Android phone and the QI app is a big loss. What shall I do now?
Still no plans for an Android port?
Is this an Apple exclusivity agreement or lack of development budget?
