Rather oddly, there is a link to an alleged iPlayer version of Idleness here. But the link doesn't work.

In more bad news for deprived QI fans, this week's episode is not being shown in Scotland. That has happened once or twice before; were the missed out shows ever broadcast in Scotland?

I believe not. In that case we lucked out because it was when episodes were being previewed on BBC4, so Scottish viewers were able to see it there.

In this case, Scottish viewers will still be able to see the episode if they have HD capable viewing equipment as they'll be able to tune in to BBC HD.

Or watch it later on iPlayer.

Two QI XLs now on iplayer EP1 I Spy and Ep 14 Idleness.

Clearly Mr Clarkson is now safe to be aired.

I can't see "Idleness" on the iPlayer.

It was definitely reinstated on Virgin Media (Catch Up) and available along with I Spy. It was not reinstated on the BBC iplayer.

Comment on the Guardian article regarding the pulling of the episode.

"I'd prefer it if they would just re-shoot the episode, and at the very end take Clarkson out and execute him in front of his family.

Surely that would satisfy the general public?"

Hooray for institutional ineptitude when it comes to new media.

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode.

I watched it on iPlayer via Virgin last night. It was a very good and amusing episode.

Despite the fun that is poked at Reliant 3 wheelers they were very popular. They could be driven on a motorcycle licence so many bikers had one to carry stuff around in. However, that has changed now and there is a special category for 3 wheelers and other light weight vehicles. They were also very economical as they had a fibreglass body. However, they were rather expensive compared to, say, a mini.

It appears this will also be the case next Friday (also for viewers in Northern Ireland).
