Mistake on number of nematodes in the world

The book is very good, I'm very glad to read it.
Anyway there are some mistakes.
I found one of these.
It's absolutely impossible that in the world there are nearly 4*10^55 nematodes. All the atoms that make the whole earth are nearly 10^51, so how can the nematodes be more than the atoms?
We need a lot of earths to contain 10^55 nematodes.

This has come up before (if I was at my computer I'd link to a couple of the threads) and everyone agrees a mistake was made somewhere, although no one had yet admitted exactly what the error was, or what the figure should have been.
