With Sandi Toksvig, Jimmy Carr and Lee Mack. Discuss it and post your quibbles here...

Now we know why Mike moved away from Doncaster.

Is the "Nobody Knows" thing in every episode of this series?

Yes, the 'Nobody Knows' bonus thing is a regular feature.

Alan is rather good at it...

Has he been having lunches with the producers again? :)

Thought it was a good show. I liked the bit about the crimes during the blitz, proves that the recent looting in the riots are not something only the current generation is able to do.

Haven't seen it yet..... but crime during the blitz? Isn't it common knowledge that there was rather a lot of it (apart from the obvious?). I'm sure I've seen the likes of Frankie Frazer being interviewed saying it was a golden time.

I assume Alan that accumulated his negative score from answers cut to fit the 30 minute programme schedule.

Yes, that's right Zebra57.

The scoring is (frankly) irrelevant on QI and just there for fun, as it is on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, where they have a scorer ('the lovely Samantha') but never announce the scores.

Alan never gets help. He doesn't even read the questions beforehand.

He is naturally (as I'm sure you know) extremely sharp, that's all.

Only teasing about Alan ;p

My comments about the crime during the Blitz wasn't so much that I didn't know (my dad lived through it and had some stories to tell), it was more that I forgot about it, and thought it was quite timely it was mentioned :)

When Stephen was talking about the Aye-Aye, he mentioned having seen one, and am I the only one who for a second thought he was talking about his infamous encounter with a Kakapo?

Also, with Lee Mack in the panel, and the show based around "I" and what sounds like "I", I half expected a return to the "i before the e" discussion.

Having said that, I did enjoy the show a lot.

Topics were strong, the panelists were not quite up to the strength of the topics. A bit flat, actually.

Maybe the XL version will be more entertaining.
