Peter Sellers did the Churchill voice. Legend has it that Churchill himself objected to being impersonated, and the guys were told to stop doing it.

Aww, that's a shame. At least John Snagg was genuine!

Good thing he was asking back then: Nowadays they would do it even more.

I could consider some Goon ones, thanks.
I updated the club's constitution to include a whole heap more comedy (it's basically now everything except for Monty Python, which has its own club), and The Goons are now officially under our umbrella.
That said, I've not listened to The Goons very much at all.

That's rather a late reply, IZ!

I crocheted a donut pincushion:

I really hoep the SpousalUnit does not mistake it for a real donut and pop it in his mouth.

I've removed the pins since taking the photo, just in case. :)

SpousalUnit's steering wheel has sustained sun damage, so I decided to crochet him a small cover. He didn't want full wheel cover. Et voilą.

I'm not pleased with the -S, seems a bit wonky. Oh well! I think he likes it.

Oh, and there's that wiper blade I bought. :P

Your talents are manifold :)

No, the manifold is somewhere in the engine, innit?

I got a wee bird house kit from someone, but was a bit rubbish so I improved it with a few things I found in the woods, corks from a beer bottle and a lot of lolly sticks.

Oh that's very fairytalish, Starfish.

I love that house, and I am very impressed by your superdetailing (a modelling term for making it better).

I am (eventually) going to make a row of terraced sparrow nest boxes for our garden. I though of making them little milk bottles for the doorstep and so on.

Beer bottle tops for satellite dishes?

And why only for sparrahs, eh? You got sumfink against tits?

I love tits, especially when they rest on your hands.

Ah well, tits is more your semi-detatched with front garden attachment type bird, whereas sparrows are your terraced house with scrubbed doorstep and washing strung along the back yards.

I'm not making boxes for starlings because I refuse to make little burnt out cars and old sofas for the front gardens.
