Ah well, tits is more your semi-detatched with front garden attachment type bird, whereas sparrows are your terraced house with scrubbed doorstep and washing strung along the back yards.

I'm not making boxes for starlings because I refuse to make little burnt out cars and old sofas for the front gardens.

Dear gourd, that's funny! :D

I'm going to pass this along to some people who will equally appreciate it.

Bemason's shoebox set design for Algernon's flat ("The Importance of Being Earnest") earned him 2nd place in his class:

The Goons are now officially under our umbrella.

Cool. I hope you include Spike's other work too!

If you would like to listen to a few for free (legally free, I mean), Spotify is the best place to go, there are plenty
on there. Search for 'The Goons', then click on the same phrase in the 'artist' tab to get a fairly extensive list.

Chapeau, bemason. That cut-out furniture is quite trompe-l'oeil. :)

I am (eventually) going to make a row of terraced sparrow nest boxes for our garden. I though of making them little milk bottles for the doorstep and so on.
Don't forget to give the milk bottles pecked-out tops. That'll teach the little bastards.

That's not very Buddhist of you, Spud.

I'm a practicing Buddhist. I haven't got it right yet.

You mean - a trainee Buddhist.

All Buddhists are trainees. Why else would they follow the practice?

So when you've got the papers you can stop practising?!

Sorry - am confused. A practitioner ain't a trainee, is s/he?

No - it's just a play on words. As my old schoolmate used (untruthfully) to say,"I'm not a practicing* homosexual. I got it right first time."

* as in, "A professional doesn't practice until he can get it right - he practices until he can't get it wrong."

(Practice = rehearsal) v. (practice = procedure). I know, I know - practice/practise. Let a chap have some poetic licence.

Steve Greg's post on origami reminded me I've meant to take some shots of my origami projects:
